We believe that our church should be socially relevant to the community in which she serves. Because of this, we have developed some community projects.

  • Christ to the Rural World (CRW): Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry’s Christ to the Rural World (CEM/CRW) which started in the 1980’s reaches out to people in the remote areas of the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They are also provided with basic humanitarian services such as, clothes, food, free medical care etc.) that will enable people to live decent lives and also prepare them for the second coming of Christ.
  • Day of Help for Persons with Disability: This national initiative which has become an annual event started in August 2016 for the visually impaired, deaf, burnt survivors, physically challenged, people with mental health problems, autistic persons, Down’s syndrome children, Albinos etc. They are provided with free medical care, clothing, food items, toiletries, mattresses, pillows, sponge and other items, so they can also live their lives in dignity
  • Let’s All Come Together (LACT): LACT is a community project developed by CEM London, which started about 4 years ago. The main aim is to promote community cohesion and oneness. We bring people from different cultural, religious and ethnic background together under one roof, to chill out, have fun; make new friends in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. It is also a time of joy, socialisation and family reunion. It has served children, the aged, single mothers, drug addicts, the homeless, the disabled and many more. This happens once in a year and its open to all.
Participants are served with hot food, drinks, music, dance, games, competitions, talks and a lot more all for free. Previous sponsors and partners include Newham Council, INUF, Alternatives, Teen Challenge, East London Shakespeare Company, The Anchor, WHEAT Mentor Support Trust, Caramel Rock Academy, ProntaPrint Stratford, Morrisons, Nando’s, Pizza Express, Sainsburys Local, Tesco Express, Costa Coffee and Epsilon Hotel.

"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." - Hebrews 10:25
